The sound of the ocean, fireworks lighting the harbor, and a love story years in the making made Rachel and Jacob’s Newport wedding weekend pure magic. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to reflect their personalities, celebrate their loved ones, and create a Fourth of July experience unlike any other.

The festivities started with an amazing welcome dinner at the historic Marble House on Bellevue Avenue. Rachel and Jacob wanted to honor their cultural roots and provide guests with an unforgettable experience that combined traditional Indian ceremony, dance, and food with Newport’s unique elegance. Dressed in beautiful Indian outfits, guests filled the evening with color, laughter, and energy, setting the stage for the celebrations to come.
On July 4th, the wedding day started at Hotel Viking, where Rachel and her bridal party prepared in style. Rachel wore three distinct outfits designed by David Josef Fashion and styled by The Boston Bridal Stylist. Each outfit was unique and full of personality. A vintage car took her to the historic Trinity Church, where she and Jacob exchanged heartfelt vows in front of family and friends.

Guests then participated in a joyful ribbon-wand exit. They enjoyed mocktails served from the Bevi e Vivi beverage truck in custom toss-ware cups. This playful detail perfectly captured the couple’s mix of elegance and fun. Before the evening reception, guests took a guided tour through downtown Newport, appreciating the city’s historic charm.

As the sun set, everyone came together at Regatta Place, a beautiful venue overlooking the marina and Newport Bridge. The design drew inspiration from the Fourth of July colors but added a modern flair with bright pinks and royal blues, giving it a lively, festive feel. Fun touches inspired by the 80s added character and a sense of nostalgia, including a “Party on Dudes” marquee sign and a lounge that resembled a teen’s bedroom from the 80s. Each corner showcased Rachel and Jacob’s imaginative vision.

Dinner featured a classic New England lobster boil buffet, served with seaside views and accompanied by lively performances from family and friends. Two live bands kept the energy high. The dance floor was officially opened with an amazing roller-skating dance performance by Fluxion Entertainment that got everyone cheering.

As the night wrapped up, guests enjoyed a sunset cruise to see fireworks over the harbor. It was a beautiful end to a weekend full of joy, color, and connection. A vintage ice cream truck awaited their return, offering nostalgic treats as everyone shared memories of the celebration.
Rachel and Jacob’s Fourth of July wedding weekend in Newport was a perfect mix of love, culture, and creativity. Every detail, from the fusion welcome dinner to the coastal-chic reception, reflected their story in a personal, vibrant, and timeless way. It was more than a wedding; it was an experience their guests will remember for years.
